An evening of brief lectures about planning, about the future, and about the city in the coming years, delivered by the people who are planning the city.

The Municipal Strategy and Thinking About the Future of the City: Hagit Naali-Joseph, the Director of Strategic Planning, will lecture on the municipal strategic plan for 2035. The plan deals with the key development directions in the coming decade, and aims to fine-tune the city’s vision, the priorities, and the role of the Municipality in meeting changing local and global challenges.

The Zoning Plan and the Flagship Plans Advanced by the Engineering Administration: Ran Baram, the Deputy Director of Planning at the Engineering Administration, will describe Outline Plan TA/5500, which is a revision of the existing Outline Plan TA/5000. It addresses the changes that have occurred in recent years, with a focus on the approval of the National Outline Plan pertaining to the vicinity of Tel Aviv’s metro stations (Outline Plan 70). He will also talk about global trends, such as the climate crisis, as well as cultural and technological changes.
